3.6.1(A) and (C-E), Handbook: Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Sleep bedding includes beds, cribs, or mattresses. Nap bedding includes sleep bedding, cots, playpens, play yards or floor mats. Air and foam mattresses are prohibited. Floor mats must be at least one-inch thick and covered with an impermeable surface. Bedding must be appropriate for the child's size. Appropriate bedding is not available for all children.
