   The facility's transportation log did not include [the second sweep]. SACCF Handbook, Section 2.5.2 Comments: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed there was no second sweep completed and no signature. The director was given until November 21, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, SACCF Handbook, Section 2.5.2 Transportation Log A. A log must be maintained for all children being transported in the vehicle or on foot away from and/or to the premises of the child care facility . The log must be retained on file at the facility for a minimum of 12 months and available for review by the licensing authority. The log must include: 1. Each childs name, 2. Date and time of departure, 3. Time of arrival at the destination, 4. The signature of the driver (or in the case of traveling on foot, the signature of the child care personnel), and 5. The signature of a second child care personnel or person(s) authorized by the parent to verify the transportation log and that all children have left the vehicle (if applicable). 06. The director was given until November 4, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.1 B Driver Requirements The driver of any vehicle used by a child care program to provide transportation must have the following: Child Care Facility Handbook Page | 15 B.    The facility did not have documentation of an annual vehicle inspection for a vehicle used to transport children in care. SACCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4, A Comments: During the inspection, the director advised that currently there is two transportation vehicle. The first vehicle a 2008 Ford Econoline E450 (B51968) that was last inspected on 9/5/2024 and is insured through Philadelphia Insurance Company with an effective date of 1/6/24. The vehicle name is E8. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed the facility did not have an up to date vehicle inspection for the second vehicle E9. The director was given until November 21, 2024, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, SACCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4 A Vehicle Requirements A. All vehicles regularly used to transport children must be inspected annually by a mechanic to ensure that they are in proper working order.
