   An area(s) of the facility was observed to not be in good repair. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in paint peeling in the following rooms older 3's, 2's, back hallway, VPK A, VPK B, Bathroom by the infant room, and Infants. A small hole in the bathroom the wall to the left in the VPK A room. In the infant room where the white tile and brown tile meet there is a small hole in the floor(provider filled in the hole). The wall that has the white board hanging on it there are 2 small holes and a screw sticking(the provider removed the screw) out of the wall. In the VPK A room the shelf to the right in the block area the contact paper was ripping off. The director was given until April 24, 2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.1 A.- General Health and Safety Requirements. A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed cords hanging down and or in the reach of the children in the following rooms 2's, VPK A, the main entrance/hallway, Infants and School Age. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection by removing the cords and putting them out of the reach of the children During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 3.1 D.- General Health and Safety Requirements. D. Strangulation hazards, strings, and cords long enough to encircle a childs neck such as those on toys and window coverings must not be accessible to children in care. 13.    The facilitys outdoor play area contained litter, nails, glass or other hazards that posed a low potential for harm to children. CCF Handbook, Section 3.5, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed on the big playground the white fence next to the building on the right side the gate at the bottom has 3 broken panel and two of those panel have sharp edges and there is a gap that is 6 inches wide. This leads into an area that there are hazards (a metal electric box that says keep out on it, a satellite and the wires on the ground, cement blocks) to the children but the children can not leave the facility. The white picnic table the left side of the table lifts up and is not secured to the table legs (provider secure the top of the table to the table legs). The paint is peeling off the building. On the younger playground the step 2 play set the green roofing is ripped and hanging down and the entrance way at the bottom to the right the bottom has a hole and sharp piece(provider removed the green roofing and placed the door that belonged to the playset back into the hole area). The paint is peeling off the building. The director was given until April 24, 2025, to come into compliance with this standard. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed in the older 3's room there was 2 cots that the mesh was ripping and exposing strings. In the 2's room there were 1 cot that the mesh was ripping and exposing strings. In the VPK A room there were 3 cots that the mesh was ripping and exposing the strings. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection by removing the cots and replacing them with new cots. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section3.6.1 Bedding and Linens Each child in care must be provided safe and sanitary bedding to be used when napping or sleeping. Nap bedding is not required for school-age children; however, the program must provide an area for children that choose to rest. 19.
