    The homes usable indoor floor space, including shelves or storage for toys and other materials, for childrens indoor play and activities was not accessible for children's use. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.5, E and F Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the living room space which is included in the Operator's square footage was not set up or accessible to the children in care. Electrical Wi-Fi box and cords were on the floor, a children's table was observed with a case of water, Christmas decorations and an unlit candle on top. A bowl of water was sitting on the floor for the dogs and Christmas decorations were laid out on the couch. No toys or other activities were set up in this room for children. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the LFCCH Handbook: E. Usable indoor floor space refers to that space available for indoor play and activities. Usable indoor floor space is calculated by measuring at floor level from interior walls and by deleting space for stairways, toilets and bath facilities, permanent fixtures and non-movable furniture. Kitchens, offices, laundry rooms, storage areas, hallways, and other areas not normally used or accessible to the children in daily operations are not included when calculating usable indoor floor space to determine total home capacity.
