This was completed at the time of the inspection by the Licensing Specialist able to check background screening and observed childcare personnel eligibility.     The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the fire extinguisher(s). The Licensing Specialist observed (3) fire extinguishers that were not retagged timely and did not have a current certificate. Fire extinguishers were last tagged on January 2024. According to the CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2 Fire Safety B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times. FOOD AND NUTRITION Not Monitored Comments This program receives their meals and snacks via the school cafeteria, which gets monitored by the Department of Health.
