The play equipment was not safe and sanitary for the children to use in that [ plastic play equipment to include a play kitchen that was cracked and cracks caused sharp edges also a plastic table that had red painted wood that was observed wilted and shredded from damage caused by water]. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6, M Health Requirements [SR] Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist observed plastic play equipment to include a play kitchen that was cracked and cracks caused sharp edges. Also, the specialist observed a plastic table that had red painted wood that was observed wilted and shredded from damage caused by water. The provider immediately discarded of the play equipment at time of inspection and removed the play equipment from the playground. TA was provided to ensure that the outdoor play equipment is observed in good condition and maintained in safe and sanitary condition. TS was provided to ensure that stationary equipment anchored in place has a resilient surface around the perimeter of the equipment.
