The home does not have documentation for all child care personnel on the required annual refresher education of the homes exposure plan. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.23 Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist determined that the operator and substitute failed to review the homes Exposure plan policy annually. The home has an exposure plan written and it was last acknowledged by the operator in 2021. The operator understands that the policy must be reviewed by both the operator and substitute annually and documentation must be placed on file for Licensing to review. TA was provided to ensure that the homes Exposure plan policy is reviewed as training annually and documentation must be placed on file for Licensing to review. Not Applicable Comments At the time of the inspection, the provider stated they do not dispense medication to children, including diaper rash cream, sunscreen, insect repellant or any life- sustaining medications such as inhalers, epi pens, etc. Provider advised that there is diapering cream stored at the home for parent's use to dispense on their own children as applicable. There was not a signed statement from the custodial parents/guardians verifying they had received the Selecting a Family Day Care Home Provider brochure. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 8.3, D Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist determined that the home failed to have parents guardians acknowledge the homes brochure, Selecting a Family Day Care Home Provider. The provider advised that she has the facility version of the brochure in her enrollment packet and just provides it to the parents. The licensing specialist advised the correct brochure needed for the home and the provider printed the brochure from the Licensing website and advised that she would have parents to sign them immediately. TA was provided to ensure that the homes brochure is signed by all parents/guardians by the due date and placed on file for Licensing to review.Specialist reviewed 6 enrolled childrens files.
