04. Supervision CCF Handbook, Section 2.4 (04-01)
Supervision of children in the [two year old] group was inadequate in that [a child was left unattended on the changing table, a child sustained a bite from another child in the classroom on at least two occasions and a child was observed on the playground picking up debris from the ground and placing it in his mouth without the teachers knowing.]. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4 Comments: September 2, 2025, the GOC1 and the CPI observed a child from the two year old classroom on the playground place a piece of debris from the ground into his mouth with the teacher's knowledge. The CPI called to the teacher to have her come and remove the debris from the child's mouth. Technical assistance was provided to the teacher and the director so that the children will have direct supervision at all times. September 2, 2025, the GOC1 observed two incident accident reports involving a child in the two year old classroom being bit by another child. Technical assistance was provided to the teachers and the director that direct supervision needs to be on the children at all times. September 2, 2025, the GOC 1 observed video of the two year old classroom in which a child was on the changing table and the teacher turned with her back to the child leaving the child unattended on the changing table. Technical assistance was provided to the teacher and the director so that there is direct supervision on the children at all times. 05.
