CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing specialist observed the blue rug with the alphabet train in the 1-year-old room, needs to be cleaned or replaced (Picture was taken). Licensing specialist (LS) gave technical assistance (TA) to the staff and director explaining that all child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1, G & H Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing specialist observed in the 1-year old room, that linens were left on the cots from the previous usage and then the cots were stacked one on top of the other. The linens were touching. Technical assistance was provided by the licensing specialist to the staff and director to please come up with a different plan for linen storage, one in which they do not touch while being stored.
