General Requirements [SR] Comments: There were 2 groups of children, one with 1 staff and 6 children ages 3-4, and another group with 1 staff and 5 children ages 1-2 (one child being 1). The staff from the older group of children went to open the entry door leaving her 6 children with the younger group on the back of the building, placing it out ratio due to having a 1-year-old in it. The staff returned to the group thus it was completed at the time of the inspection. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: The facilitys ceiling has several spots throughout the building in which the tiles are stained. Licensing provided technical assistance explaining all child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. Any problems must be corrected before the play area is used by children. Documentation of the indoor play area inspection must be maintained for 12 months.
