Child care personnel including volunteers who work 10 hours or more per month did not complete the 40 hour Introductory Child Care Training requirement. CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Comments: Licensing Specialist reviewed training transcript on employee. The employee started the Introductory Course on 8/6/2023. The employee has not completed the Introduction Course and it is over one year from the Introduction Course start date. Provided Technical Assistance to the Director: the Introduction Course must be completed withing 12 months of the training start date. The facility did not have documented proof that all child care personnel were trained and knowledgeable within 30 days of date of hire in [ the use of fire extinguishers]. CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.3 and 4.2.5 Training [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist observed new employee record and observed fire extinguisher training not completed (started 7/22/2024) and over 30 days from date of hire. Provided technical assistance to the Director: Fire Extingusher Training must be completed within 30 days of employee hire date.
