Licensing provided technical assistance explaining that during the facilitys licensure year, fire drills utilizing the alarm system, approved by the local fire authority, must be conducted monthly at various dates and times when children are in care. The fire drills conducted must include, at a minimum: One drill in the presence of and at the request of the licensing authority in coordination with the operator or designee. Technical assistance given thus it was completed at the time of the inspection. Please make sure to coordinate with the school district for your next annual drill in presence of licensing.
