CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing counselor observed evidence of rodent activity in the facilities kitchen where food was being prepared, storage closets and multiple classrooms where children are actively being cared for. The kitchen has visible rodent feces and urine in various places along the walls, under the cabinets and behind appliances. The classrooms have visible rodent feces and urine in several locations per each classroom. The director immediately contacted pest control and pest control arrived and began to access the situation. Pest control provided traps and a plan to rid the facility of rodents. On April 12, 2026 licensing counselor observed the pest control devices, and it is apparent that the facility is trying to control the infestation. An area(s) of the facility was observed to not be in good repair. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Classroom #8 has a portable sink that was observed not to be in good repair. The sink was dry and did not look used, even though clearly diapers were observed being changed. Under the cabinet of the portable sink there was vermin urine that has been collecting for an unknown amount of time. The was a significant amount of dried vermin urine. The used water container under the portable sink was stagnant and some type of winged pests were observed by licensing counselor flying out of the top of it. When licensing counselor asked the teacher about the portable sink being used, she said she has never used it and was told not to. On April 12, 2026 an inspection was conducted. Areas of the facility were found to be in need of cleaning. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: The overall facility is in need of a deep cleaning. Multiple classrooms had old food, dirt, dust and debris under and behind the shelves. Several changing tables had old food, dirt and debris under the changing table mats. Windows were observed to be in need of cleaning due to dust and debris. Multiple classrooms had dirty toys and toy baskets that need to be cleaned or disposed of. The kitchen is in need of deep cleaning before food can be served to the children. The inside of the bottle warmers in the infant classroom are dirty with a moldy substance and in need of cleaning. On April 12, 2026 an inspection was conducted. The facility corrected the violation before this report was uploaded by deep cleaning all classroom areas, the kitchen and bottle warmers.
