Child care personnel inappropriately interacted with children in care in a manner that was aggressive, demeaning or intimidating in nature. CCF Handbook, Section 8.2, C Enforcement [SR] Comments: During the time if the inspection, the Licensing Specialist watched the footage from the incident date during naptime. It was observed that the child was having a hard time falling to sleep. The teacher got close to the child and while it was unclear if the teacher pinched the child, it was observed the teacher near/grabbing aggressively the childs arm while shouting go to bed. This standard was completed at the time of the inspection, by the Director stating that the childcare personnel was terminated immediately from the facility. According to the CCF Handbook, Section 8.2 Child Safety. C. Childcare personnel must appropriately interact with children to foster a healthy, safe environment that will encourage the childs physical, intellectual, motor, and social development. Interactions with children that are aggressive, demeaning or intimidating in nature are strictly prohibited. CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.2, E (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Food and Nutrition [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that open packages of dried goods were not properly covered, labeled with date. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance. According to the CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.2 Food Storage E. Opened packages of dried goods must be properly covered/sealed, properly stored, and discarded according to the manufacturers recommended date or if the quality of the food has been compromised. According to the CCF Handbook, Section 7.1 Immunization Records The child care facility is responsible for obtaining for each child in care a current, complete and properly executed Florida Certification of Immunization form Part A-1, B, or C, DH 680, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001(7)(o), F.A.C., or the Religious Exemption from Immunization form, DH 681, which is incorporated by reference in 65C- 22.001(7)(p), F.A.C., from the custodial parent or legal guardian. 42.
