An area(s) of the facility was observed to not be in good repair. CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed in the 1-year old room there was a large yellow stain on the ceiling above the diaper changing area, a portion of the wall by the table has been dented in and the wall is now easily able to be pushed creating a small hole. In the blue and green center area on the ceiling a yellow stain was observed. In the red and green center area on the side of the wall with the mural there is a hole towards the bottom which is 4inx1in. The lid to the toilet on the far right in the 2-year old bathroom. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the CCF Handbook:A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Staplers and hole punchers were stored in an unlocked drawer in a VPK room Hand sanitizers and acrylic aerosol sealer spray were stored in an unlocked cabinet in a VPK room Staplers, adult scissors, matches, batteries, and hole punchers were stored in an unlocked drawer in the 2-year old room. Liquid stitch was stored at the bottom of an unlocked cabinet in a VPK room. A large hose was sprawled out on the outdoor play area while children were outside. The staff kitchen/storage area does not have a lock and was left open leaving several cleaning supplies accessible. During the time of the inspection, this was partially resolved by teachers in each room moving the hazardous items to locked storage areas or up high and out of children's reach. The Licensing Specialist observed 125 of the 125 children's records During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed 59 children's enrollment forms to not have the enrollment date. During the time of the inspection, this was resolved by the Operator filling out the enrollment dates on each form. Harmful items including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials were accessible to children in care. CCF Handbook, Section 3.2, B Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed there to be two containers of Disinfectant wipes, three containers of Clorox wipes to be in a floor level basket accessible to the children in the VPK D room. The Licensing Specialist observed there to be Clorox wipes and Lysol spray accessible to the children in care in an unlocked cabinet. During the time of the inspection, the was resolved by a staff member moving the cleaning supplies out of reach of children. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance: per the CCF Handbook "B. All potentially harmful items, including cleaning supplies, flammable products, poisonous, toxic, and hazardous materials, must be labeled and used according to manufacturers recommendation. These items, as well as knives, sharp tools, and other potentially dangerous hazards, must be stored in a locked area or must be inaccessible and out of a childs reach at all times."
