CCF Handbook, Section 3.1, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed peeling paint on the wall in the 3-year old room and 1-year old room. The handle for the exit door in the Afterschool room is loose. In transportation vehicle (43097) two air conditioning units were being held up by duct tape. Peeling paint was observed on the orage side door on the outdoor playarea. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the CCF Handbook:A. All child care facilities must be clean, in good repair, free from health and safety hazards and from evidence of, or presence of, vermin infestation. Indoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety and documented on a daily inspection log. Outdoor play areas must be inspected daily for basic health and safety. The handwashing sink in the kitchen does not drain properly. The base of the toilet in the Afterschool room is cracked with dirt and grime built up down the side and the base. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, per the CCF Handbook:3.9.1 Food Preparation Area A food preparation area is a designated room, such as a kitchen, or a designated pace in a facility not normally used or accessible to the children in daily operations for indoor play, classroom, work or nap spaces, and not included when calculating usable indoor floor space. A. A food preparation area is required for facilities that choose to prepare food in a manner consistent with the definition of preparation of food. Specific requirements for the food preparation area include: 1.
