The vehicle alarm installed was not in working condition. CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4 Comments: The bus that is listed in the supplemental with a License number did not have a proper working alarm. TA was provided to have the alarm fixed by the due date. The other bus was in working order. Licensing Specialist reviewed a vehicle inspection which is current through 10/22/26 and 6/23/26. Licensing Specialist reviewed the vehicle insurance which is valid through 5/1/26. Compliance Comments Licensing Specialist conducted a visual and physical inspection of the vehicle(s) used to transport children. All rooms did not have sufficient lighting equivalent to 20 foot candles at three feet from the floor. CCF Handbook, Section 3.3.1, A Comments: At the time of the inspection, the restrooms in all classrooms only had lighting up to 9.79-13.26. TA was provided to add lightbulbs to the fixtures or update the bulbs in order to meet the 20 ft candle requirement by the due date. CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4 Comments: At the time of the re-inspection, the provider was not able to get the horn to sound properly in the one-minute requirement. TA was provided to have the alarm repaired by the due date.. Vehicle Alarm requirements: The alarm system must be armed or activated automatically when the vehicles ignition is turned on. b. The alarm system must be designed and installed so that the vehicle horn, siren or other type of audio alarm will sound if the driver/staff member does not walk to the rear or, in the case of a passenger van, the side entry point of the vehicle, to manually shut off or deactivate the alarm. c. The time delay from the time the ignition is turned off after activation of the alarm system until the alarm sounds shall be no longer than one minute. d. The alarm must be audible from the distance of 500 feet from the vehicle. e. The alarm system must be installed so that the driver must walk to the back of the vehicle to reach the deactivation mechanism. The facility did not have a current and approved annual fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, A Comments: The fire inspection was conducted 1/29/24 and expired 1/29/25. The new fire inspection was then conducted on 3/14/25 placing this competed at the time of the inspection. TA was provided that the fire inspection should be completed prior to the expiration of the previous fire expiration. A fire inspection is required annually.
