The facilitys outdoor play area contained litter, nails, glass or other hazards that posed a low potential for harm to children. CCF Handbook, Section 3.5, A (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Specialist observed the playground equipment. 3 pieces of equipment: 1. a metal school bus - paint chips came off as the specialist ran hand over it. 2. 4 seat teeter totter- is rusting and in need of paint. 3. Climbing Dome - is rusting and in need of paint. The Child Care Facility Handbook states on page 24: 3.5 Outdoor Play Area A.
