A signed statement from the custodial parent(s) or legal guardian(s) attesting that the facility had provided the department's Know Your Child Care Facility brochure was not on file for the child(ren). CCF Handbook, Section 7.3, C.1. Comments: During the time of the inspection, the Owner/Operator advised the Licensing Specialist that there are currently 106 children enrolled. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored 56 of the 106 childrens records REMINDER: Influenza brochures must be provided annually between August 1st and September 30th for each enrolled child. Distracted Adult brochures must be provided semi-annually in the months of April and September for each enrolled child. 43-3: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there was not a signed statement that the custodial parents received a copy of the Know Your Child Care Facility brochure for at least 56 childrens file. The director stated that the corporation changed their enrollment application and the new application does not have the required statements, so she believes all the childrens files does not have the required statements. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 7.3, C.1. C. There shall be signed statements from the custodial parents or legal guardian that the child care facility has provided them with the following information: 1. The Departments child care facility brochure, CF/PI 175-24, Know Your Child Care Facility, which is incorporated by reference in 65C-22.001 (7)(m), F.A.C. This brochure may be obtained from the Departments website at www.myflfamilies.com/childcare. Local licensing agencies may use an equivalent brochure approved by the Department. CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1, G & H Comments: 18-12:During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the bedding in Atelier classroom was not stored in a sanitary manner, in that the rolled up bedding was touching each other. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.6.1, G & H Bedding and linens, when not in use, must be stored in a sanitary manner which prevents the spread of germs or lice from other linens.
