The agency failed to report the concerns to the Department of Children's Services immediately as required by Tennessee Law and Licensing Rules & Regulations. — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Technical Assistance — Action taken: The agency will continue Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect training annually and plans to remind ALL staff of the TN state laws regarding teh reporting of suspected child abuse and neglect. The agency Director will ensure that all staff understand these laws and the steps/process of reporting.

On November 12, 2024 concerns of improper discipline techniques was reported at this agency with possible incidents occuring Nov. 8, 2024 — Visit: Complaint Investigation,Technical Assistance — Action taken: The Director contacted DCS about the situation. The employee is currently not working with the children. The Director held a meeting with children's families to go over everything. The center has also let all other parents know of the incident and had them sign a form stating they're aware of the situation. The agency will continue to review proper discipline techniques with taff and will review steps for reporting incidents, specifically suspected child abuse reporting guidelines.
