A new staff was bringing the children in and did not do the count outside before they came in. Once inside the count was done and it was realized at that point that the child was not with the group, and another staff ran out to get the child outside on the playground. Requirement: Each staff person shall be assigned the responsibility for supervision of specific children. The staff person shall know the names and whereabouts of the children in his assigned group. The staff person shall be physically present with the children in his group on the facility premises and on facility excursions off the facility premises. Correction: Each staff person will be responsible for a specific group of children. Staff will maintain their groups by counting and identifying children in their care multiple times a day including but not limited to during transition times, during arrival and departure times, when there is a staff change, and anything entering or leaving a room.
