At the time of inspection, large tree roots were protruding from the ground in the play ground area was observed a tripping hazard.At the time of inspection, the amount of loose fill wood chips under the outdoor embedded play equipment was insufficient. Requirement: If unsafe areas or conditions are in or near an outdoor play space, fencing or natural barriers are required to restrict children from those unsafe areas or conditions. Outdoor equipment that requires embedded mounting must be mounted over a loose-fill or unitary playground protective surface covering that meets the recommendations of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. The equipment must be anchored firmly and be in good repair. Correction: The wood chips covering the outdoor play space will be re-filled to recommended level. The tree roots will be fenced-in to block children's access from walking in the area, so the tripping hazard is eliminated. Inspection: Renewal.
