Sunscreen was observed in 3 children's bags that were on low shelves/cubbies, that were accessible to children (corrected on-site). Requirement: Cleaning materials and other toxic materials shall be stored in an original labeled container or in a container that specifies the content. Toxics shall be kept in a locked area or in an area inaccessible to children, and shall be stored away from food, food preparation areas and child care spaces. The First-aid kit in the classroom was on a low shelf, accessible to children and the first-aid kit in the backpack that is taken outside with the children to the play yard, was hanging on a low hook, also accessible to children during the inspection (both corrected on-site). Correction: This was corrected by placing the first-aid kit into our locked closet and placing our go-bag/backpack first-aid kit inside of the office space where it is out of reach for the children. Correction: This was corrected by placing the plastic bags on a high shelf that is not accessible to the children. Water balloons were used that day for water play, leaving broken pieces of balloons on the ground outside. They were cleaned up and discarded the same day. Inspection: Renewal.
