During the time of inspection, it was observed that there were 22 children in room 6 from 7:07am until 7:09am. Staff member #1 came to room 6 and removed 1 child. Room 6 then had 21 children present from 7:09am until 7:23am. The capacity of room 6 is 20 children. Requirement: Indoor child care space is measured within permanent stationary partitions or walls. The allowable number of children in a space is determined by dividing the total square feet in a space by 40. The capacity established for an indoor space may not be exceeded except in situations described in § 3270.61(h)(1-3) Correction: Parents of school-aged children were informed upon entering the center which classroom to drop off their children in once the classroom's capacity was reached.
