Personnel did not demonstrate realistic expectations for behavior based on children's age, abilities, and needs due to engaging in inappropriate practices and interactions with children, including requiring children to repeatedly perform tasks until completed to staff expectations and being emotionally dismissive toward children. Complaint finding: Substantiated (complaint #20132). Plan to correct: -To ensure consistent implementation of positive behavior guidance strategies and to strengthen classroom management practices, all Children's Place SMC staff will complete the training "Conscious Discipline: Guiding the Most Challenging Children" -Kalyn Murphy, MS, CCPS, OUHSC Child Study Center Child Development Specialist with the Warmline, will provide training for Children's Place SMC staff members. Following the training, the Child Development Specialist will provide individualized followup support and coaching to each staff member to reinforce training concepts and assist with practical application in the classroom setting. -A staff meeting will be conducted on June 30, 2026, to review key - concepts from the training, discuss implementation strategies, a ddress questions or concerns, and ensure staff understanding.
