Large playground slide is broken at the bottom with sharp protruding edges facing the inside of the slide. Visit: Complaint / Partial. Plan to correct: Director will work with owner to get the slide removed and get another one. If this is not possible right away, director will get the slide removed from the playground so the kids don’t get hurt. If this is not immediately possible, director will block access to the slide with cardboard or posterboard, and assign an extra teacher to keep children off the slide when children are on the playground. If the director is unable to do her midmorning walk-through, the assistant director will do a walk-through to make sure all classrooms are in ratio. Teachers will be reminded of how to read the ratio chart and the importance of communicating with management immediately if they are close to being over ratio. Eating and drinking location

Licensing observed an infant drinking a bottle in a moving swing during the visit. Visit: Complaint / Full. Plan to correct: Licensing discussed requirements with the teachers and the teachers immediately removed the infant from the swing and held them to feed the bottle. Director will inform the infant teachers today that infants are not to be fed in any equipment with motion.
