At the time of inspection, a child was observed alone with a therapist in room 6. The therapist had gone for fingerprinting, however, the center did not have the results yet. The therapist did not have a cleared CARI with the center and had not completed the required orientation training. When discussed with administrative staff, the child and therapist were moved back into the child's classroom where there were staff members who had the required clearances. Provide an MOU stating that the center understands, and agrees, that children can not be left alone, at any time, with individuals who do not have a cleared CHRI and CARI under the center's license number, and who have not competed the required orientation training. Regulation: The center shall take any steps required by the Office of Licensing to correct conditions in the building or center that may endanger the health, safety, and well-being of the children served.

The center shall have a supply of food at the center and shall serve a snack to any child who is hungry or has missed a meal. iii. Food left uneaten in a dish shall be discarded; iv. Food shall not be shared among children using the same dish or spoon; and v. Unused portions of food shall be labeled with the child's name, date, and type of food. The food shall be stored in the refrigerator, returned to the parent, or discarded with the parent's consent. All unused food shall be discarded if not consumed by the end of the day.

Recognizing and responding to injuries and emergencies, including the prevention of and response to emergencies due to food-related allergies and other allergic reactions; and 12. Including children with special needs in the center’s program.
