Correction order — Rule(s) 75-03-10-12 1 (b) - Shall be individuals of good physical, cognitive, social, and emotional health and shall use mature judgement when making decisions impacting the quality of childcare.
Evidence of violation: staff member knew child had an injury by did not communicate / report it to parents or supervisor/ owner of childcare. Parents needed to reach out to childcare to inquire if their child had received any injury while at childcare. Method of correction: The program will develop and train staff by providing a clear, concise and consistent process for responding to injuries or accidents that occur while in the care of the childcare center. This will ensure the safety and well-being of every child in the center. All staff will attend the meeting and sign and date the policy that is put in place for accidents and injuries.
