FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 2.5 Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist observed there was no daily schedule posted in the classroom of the home. The provider stated that it may have been taken down and never placed back up. The provider immediately wrote out a daily activity schedule and posted it up at time of inspection. The home did not have at least one person providing care to children with a valid and current certification in pediatric CPR procedures and/or first aid training. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 5.1.1, C Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist determined that the child care personnel did not complete required certification for pediatric CPR and First aid training prior to providing care to children in the home. The home does not have documentation for all child care personnel on the required annual refresher education of the homes exposure plan. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.23 Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist determined that the child care personnel listed on the supplemental did not complete annual exposure plan training. The provider stated she wasnt aware of the training. TA was provided to ensure that exposure plan refresher training is completed by the due date. Not Applicable Comments At the time of the inspection, the provider stated they do not dispense medication to children, including diaper rash cream, sunscreen, insect repellant or any life- sustaining medications such as inhalers, epi pens, etc. No medication was observed. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.2 Comments: At the time of the inspection, there were two febreze aerosole cans and a spray bottle with no label on it in an unlocked storage shelf in the children's classroom. The provider stated it was soap and water in the spray bottle. The provider labeled the bottle and placed the febreze aerosole cans and spray bottle out of reach of children. Outdoor play areas were not free from litter, nails, glass, and other hazards. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6, A Comments: At the time of the inspection, there was a ladder placed against the fence in the children's playground. The wooden sand pit had a nail sticking out and a wooden piece of wood with nails broken off the sand pit. The nails from the sand pit were removed from the playground.
