A Large Family Child Care Home may provide care for a maximum of: 1. 8 children from birth to 24 months of age. 2. 12 children with no more than 4 from birth to 24 months of age. There were [9] children observed in care and their ages were [infant to four-year-old]. 402.302 (11), F.S., FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 2.2.2 [SR] Comments: The license is posted on a wall inside the home. At the time of inspection, ratio was as follows. Infant 4-year-old 6:1 Child Care Personnel • During the inspection, three (3) more children were received and only one Child Care Personnel was present. At approximately 9:01am, there were a total of 9 children (infant to 4-year-old) to one Child Care Personnel. At approximately 9:04am another Child Care Personnel arrived at the home putting the home into ratio. Technical assistance was provided to ensure that appropriate ratio is always followed.
