    Narcotics, alcohol, or other impairing drugs/paraphernalia were accessible to children in care. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.2, C Comments: At the time of inspection, the Licensing specialist observed alcohol in the upright refrigerator and freezer in the kitchen of the home stored low in the unit shelf. Also, a wine cooler was observed near the kitchen that had sealed and open bottles of alcohol accessible to children in care. The provider immediately removed the open bottles of alcohol to another location in the home out of reach of children at time of inspection. The specialist suggested baby gates on the openings of the kitchen and or baby locks on the wine cooler. TA was provided to ensure that alcohol is not accessible to children at any time. Not Applicable Comments At the time of inspection, the provider advised that there is no smoking in the home or on the premises; therefore this standard is not applicable.
