The Operator has been given until 6/18/2026 to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, 402.313(3) F.S. (3) Child care personnel in family day care homes shall be subject to the applicable screening provisions contained in ss. 402.305(2) and 402.3055. For purposes of screening in family day care homes, the term includes any member over the age of 12 years of a family day care home operators family, or persons over the age of 12 years residing with the operator in the family day care home. Members of the operators family, or persons residing with the operator, who are between the ages of 12 years and 18 years shall not be required to be fingerprinted, but shall be screened for delinquency records. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, School Readiness Program Health and Safety Standards Handbook: Section 3.1: Preservice: Childcare personnel must successfully complete the preservice training coursework described in this section, as applicable. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the facility did not have current vaccination records for the pet observed. Vaccinations are available for this type of animal. Vaccination expired 5/31/2026. This standard has been brought back into compliance in that the pet was removed from the home during the inspection. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1 Animal Vaccinations: Animals, pets or fowl must be properly vaccinated, if vaccinations are available for the type of animal, pet or fowl; and be free from disease. Animals that are poisonous, aggressive, venomous, or pose a potential threat of harm to children in care are prohibited. Custodial parents or legal guardian must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises of the home. Such information may be provided by way of a parent flyer, a notification statement, or a statement included in the childs enrollment form.
