   The operator did not have documentation of current vaccination records for the pet observed.Vaccinations are available for this type of animal. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1 (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed a dog in the family home. The Operator did not have current vaccination records for the dog observed. This was brought back into compliance in at the time of the inspection in that the Operator called her son to remove the dog from the family home. The Operator's son did arrive and remove the dog from the home. This standard is brought back into compliance. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.1: Animals, pets or fowl must be properly vaccinated, if vaccinations are available for the type of animal, pet or fowl; and be free from disease. Animals that are poisonous, aggressive, venomous, or pose a potential threat of harm to children in care are prohibited. Custodial parents or legal guardian must be informed in writing of all animals on the premises of the home. Such information may be provided by way of a parent flyer, a notification statement, or a statement included in the child's enrollment form. Documentation of current immunizations must be available for review upon request by the licensing authority. 10.    Fencing a minimum of 4 feet in height with at least two exits, with one being remote from the building, was not provided when required. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6 C (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the fence less than 4 feet high. The Fence measured 2 ft and 7 inches. The Operator was given until 8/30/2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6 C: Outdoor Time, Fencing and Play Area Requirements: C: The outdoor play areas must be enclosed with fencing or walls a minimum of 4 feet in height. The fence must not prevent the supervision of children. The fence must be in good condition and conform to applicable local building codes. These areas must have at least two exits, with at least one being remote from the home. If an outdoor play area was approved for usage by the Department prior to October 25, 2017, no new exits are required to be added to meet this standard.    The outdoor play area that required fencing was not safe and adequate in that [the fence had a gap measuring 1ft an 4 inches in width]. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.6, F (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Health Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the fence behind the shed had a gap greater than 3 1/2 inches. The gap measured 1 ft and 4 inches wide. The Operator was given until 8/30/2025, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 7.6.F- Outdoor Time, Fencing and Play Area Requirements. F. Fencing, including gates, must be continuous, and shall not have opening or gaps larger than 3 1/2 inches that would allow children to exit the outdoor play area. The bottom or base of the fence must remain at ground level and free from erosion or buildup to prevent inside or outside access by children or animals.
