FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 4.1, L (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Staffing Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the operator failed to maintain a current Employee/Contractor Roster for household members in the Clearinghouse in that one individual was not removed that no longer lives in the home. This standard has been brought back into compliance in that the Owner updated the Employee/Contractor Roster during the inspection. During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 4.1, L: Initial Screening: Operators, household members (adults and children 12 to 17 years of age), substitutes, volunteers and Large Family Child Care Home employees must have a level 2 background screening clearance from the Department prior to obtaining a license, residing in the home, employment, or volunteering unsupervised with children. The employer/owner/operator must review each employment application to assess the relevancy of any issue uncovered by the complete background screening, including any arrest, pending criminal charge, or conviction, and must use this information in employment decisions in accordance with state laws. The draw was located under the television, the packages with screws were on the right side of the draw. This standard has been brought back into compliance in that the operator moved the packages containing screws out of childrens reach.
