During the licensure year, the operator failed to conduct monthly fire drills utilizing the approved fire alarm system or smoke detector at various dates and times when children are in care. At the time of the inspection, the specialist observed and participated in a fire drill. The provider used the home alarm system; the children lined up as they were used to it. The provider had their attendance log, and completed the head count using names and the children responding here. This returns the provider to compliance.
