A family day care home may provide care for a maximum of: 4 children from birth to 12 months of age. 3 children from birth to 12 months of age, and other children, for a maximum total of six children. 6 preschool children if all are older than 12 months of age. 10 children if no more than 5 are preschool age and, of those 5, no more than 2 are under 12 months of age. This standard was noncompliant when the Owner/Operator arrived at the home (approximately 5 minutes after the Licensing Specialist arrived. This standard was brought back into compliance when two of the children in care were picked up. 02.
