    A health and safety deficiency having a low potential for harm to the children in care was observed. FDCH/LFCCH Handbook, Section 7.5, B Health Requirements [SR] Comments: 5/30/25, Licensing Specialist observed the living room area and front playroom had boxes and miscellaneous items that could pose a hazard to the children in care. The bathroom door has a partial hole in the front side and the kitchen floor has several tiles that are broken and/or chipped. Provider has been given a compliance due date of 6/2/25. Licensing Specialist gave technical assistance during the inspection from the Family Day Care Home and Large Family Child Care Home Handbook: Indoor Play Areas A. Operators must promote developmentally appropriate active play for all children, including infants and toddlers, every day. B. All areas of the home including the play areas shall be in good repair, clean and free from litter, nails, glass, and other hazards. C. Strings and cords long enough to encircle a childs neck, such as those on toys and window coverings, shall not be accessible to children. D. Bathtubs, buckets, diaper pails, and other open containers of water must be emptied immediately after use. 14.
