23. Fire Drills & Emergency Preparedness CCF Handbook, Section 3.8 (23-05)
The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed documentation of the last fire drill having been conducted on 9/19/2025. The last approved fire inspection for this facility was dated 1/25/2025. The fire extinguisher certifications are valid until 04/2025. This noncompliance triggered a full routine inspection. At the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed that the facility did not have the documentation of a current tagged fire extinguisher. The extinguishers had tags that expired 4/2025. The licensing specialist took pictures. The Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook 3.8.2.B.B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times.
