CCF Handbook, Section 5.1, K Comments: At time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed the facility failed to maintain a current Employee/Contractor Roster for all childcare personnel in the Clearinghouse. The counselor observed two records were not current. The Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance explaining the employer/owner/operator must add child care personnel to their Employee/Contractor Roster in the Clearinghouse within 5 days of when the individual has received a child care eligible result and has been hired at the facility. Employer/owner/operator must add an end date for individuals on the Employee/Contractor Roster in the Clearinghouse within 5 days of the employment termination. The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Comments: During the inspection, a fire drill was not conducted in the presence of the Licensing Specialist due to there were no children present. A fire drill will be conducted at the next inspection. This is a school year only program, the staff have returned to the center the children will not return until next week. The Licensing Specialist monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed documentation of the last fire drill having been conducted on 5/16/2025 and an emergency drill was completed today with no children present. The last approved fire inspection for this facility was dated 06/17/2025. The fire extinguisher certifications are valid until 4/2025. The Specialist took pictures of the fire extinguishers with expired tags. The Specialist provided technical assistance from the handbook 3.8.2.B.B. Fire extinguishers with a minimum rating of 2A:10BC must be properly installed, serviced and maintained with current inspection tags at all times.
