    A vehicle(s) used to transport children did not have an annual inspection by a mechanic to ensure it was in proper working order. CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.4, A General Requirements [SR] Comments: During the inspection visit the LS observed that the facility didnt have a current vehicle inspection. The vehicle inspection expired on 2/28/2026, technical assistance (TA) was giving to the director explaining that all vehicles must be inspected annually by a mechanic to ensure that they are in proper working order. The director explained that they are not transporting children this week because of spring break. She scheduled an appointment for 3/17/2026 to have the van inspected. During the inspection, the staff responsible advised the Licensing Specialist that there is currently 1 transportation vehicles utilized by the facility when transporting the children that are in care. 2015 Chevrolet Express 2500-3500 Van, VIN #1GAZG1FG2F1237453 is equipped with an alarm system. Inspection was completed on 2/28/2025 and it is currently expired. The transportation vehicle is insured by Progressive Insurance Company with an expiration date of 12/29/2026.
