Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance to the Director: a employee Background Screening thru the Clearinghouse must have a Renewal completed prior to the Background Screening Expiring. The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B (Section 2.1 - Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist observed fire extinguisher ( photo taken) that expired on 6/1/2025 and not retagged. Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance to the Director: Fire extinguishers must be services and retagged prior to expiration. The fire extinguisher must be serviced and retagged by the due date for the facility to be in compliance., During the time of inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored the Fire Drill Log and observed a fire drill conducted on 6/3/2025 with 7 staff and 30 children. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4, C Record Keeping [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist review two employee records with expired Child Abuse Reporting Forms. Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance to the Director: Child Abuse Reporting Forms are valid for 1 year from date of signature and must not expire. The Director provided email to the Licensing Specialiost terminating employment for both employees effective 2/3/2025. The facility is in compliance under this standard.
