CCF Handbook, Section 7.5, B Record Keeping [SR] Comments: On February 12, 2026, GOC1 observed 11 children in the VPK classroom, and 14 children signed in on the roster. Technical assistance was provided to the teacher to ensure arrival and departure times are complete and accurate at the time of the childrens arrival and departure. Child care personnel did not complete preservice training requirements prior to unsupervised contact with or care of children or, if supervised, within 90 days of beginning employment or service with the provider. (Section 3.1 and 3.2 Training Requirements, Page 7) [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed one staff member did not complete School Readiness training within 90 days of hire. The facilty was given 14 days to complete the requirement per the School Readiness handbook. The Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the School Readiness handbook Section 3.1 and 3.2 3.1 Preservice Child care personnel must successfully complete the preservice training coursework described in this section, as applicable. All child care personnel must complete these preservice training requirements within 90 days of initial employment with any School Readiness provider. This timeframe does not start over if personnel change employment to another School Readiness provider within this initial 90 days. Personnel who have not completed all preservice training requirements are not allowed any unsupervised contact with or care of children in a School Readiness program. (Section 3.2.A.2.a. and 3.2.C Training Requirements, Page 7) [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the Licensing Specialist observed one staff member who had completed the ELFL training did not complete DEL School Readiness training by June 30, 2024. The facility was given 14 days to complete the requirement per the School Readiness handbook. The Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance from the School Readiness handbook Section 3.2.Aa and 3.2.C 2.
