3.8.4(C), Handbook: A current attendance record and parent contact information must accompany child care personnel out of the building during a drill or actual evacuation, and be used to account for all children. Child care personnel failed to possess a current attendance record and parent contact information during a fire drill, emergency preparedness drill or an actual emergency. (Section 2.1(A) Health and Safety, Page 3) License/Certificates [SR] Comments: During todays drill, one staff member failed to possess a current attendance record during the fire drill. Another staff member proceeded to obtain the attendance, bringing the area into compliance during todays visit. Technical assistance was provided regarding this standard. A fire drill was conducted today in the presence of the assigned Child Care Licensing Specialist. The program used the primary route and took two mintures and 18 seconds to evacuate the premises.
