   Supervision of children in the [3 schoolage children] group was inadequate in that [they were without adult supervision in the office]. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4 Comments: 4-10: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there were 3 school age children in the office without adult supervision. Licensing Specialist observed that the office was located in a shed that was not connected to the main facilitys structure. Licensing Specialist observed that the door was locked from the outside and that the office had AC. Licensing Specialist called the director/owner 1 and she stated that 2 of the children were her children and one 1 child was her nephew. The director stated that she was 10 minutes away and that she was coming back to the facility. Child 1 stated that the director left at 12:00 pm. Owner 2 came to the office around 12:25 pm and stated that she was grandma to the 3 children and that she left the children in the office because she had to give a lunch break to a teacher. The director/owner 1 arrived and stated that the 3 school aged children were in the office only for naptime and that it was child 1 and 2s first day at the facility this summer. The director/owner 1 provided a copy of the 3 childrens enrollment forms. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 2.4 A. Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor play area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised. B. Child care personnel must be assigned to provide direct supervision to a specific group of children and be with that group of children at all times. Children must never be left without child care personnel supervision inside or outside the facility, in a vehicle, or at a field trip location. C. Supervision standards apply at all times away from the child care facility, including during field trips, outdoor play, and when picking up or dropping off children at designated locations, such as bus stops, school, or a childs home. For school-age children, personnel must know where the children are and what they are doing at all times and capable of responding to emergencies including when children are separated from their group. 05. CCF Handbook, Section 3.2, B Comments: 13-2: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that two cleaning supplies were stored in the office in a way that allowed children in care to have access to the cleaning supplies (2 Lysol wipes). One of the Lysol wipes was on a bottom shelf of the desk and the second Lysol wipes were on a counter that the 3 children could reach. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that there were 3 school age children in the office unsupervised. During the inspection, staff removed the cleaning supplies. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the time of the inspection, the Licensing Specialist monitored 12 of the 12 employee records. When the Licensing Specialist was reviewing the files the licensing specialist observed one personnel did not finish her 40-hour training. The director was given until March 25, 2026, to come into compliance with this standard. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 4.2.1 Mandated Introductory Training Childcare personnel must successfully complete 40 hours of childcare training as evidenced by successful completion of competency examinations offered by the Department or its designated representative with a weighted score of 70 or better. Childcare personnel who successfully completed the mandatory 40-hour Introductory Child Care Training prior to January 1, 2004, are not required to fulfill the competency examination requirement. A.
