The child care personnel record did not include a signed statement regarding any work in a center that had been subject to negative licensing action or the subject of disciplinary action while employed. s.402.3055(1)(b), F.S. and Section 7.4, A Comments: At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist reviewed all staff files and determined the staff listed on the supplemental did not have a Supplement to the Child Care Facility form on file. Technical assistance was given to the provider to have the staff sign prior to the Compliance Comments At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist reviewed all 26 staff files and found to be in compliance. The facilitys storage of harmful items including cleaning supplies, flammable products, and poisonous, toxic and hazardous materials allowed access by children in care. CCF Handbook, Section 3.2, B Comments: At the time of the inspection, multiple classrooms were observed with hazardous items (liquid air freshener, Borax laundry soap, candle in a plastic cup, scissors, staplers, a can of opened mixed nuts, empty plastic bags, batteries and essential oils) that were located in drawers or under counters. Technical assistance was given to the provider to either lock the drawers and cabinets or remove all hazardous items out of the reach of the children prior to the due date.
