CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.3 and 4.2.5 Comments: At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist reviewed all staff files and determined that the staff listed on the supplemental did not have documentation of completing safe sleep training and had been employed more than 30 days. Technical assistance was given to the provider to have the staff complete the training prior to the due date. The provider was reminded that in order to satisfy this requirement the training must be accomplished through one of following methods: Department's Health Safety and Nutrition course, Safe Sleep course, or the Early Learning Floridas Safe Sleep Practices.
