CCF Handbook, Section 7.1 Comments: At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist reviewed all childrens files and determined the child listed on the supplemental had an expired immunization record in their file. Technical assistance was given to the provider to obtain a current form from the parent/guardian prior to the due date. Compliance Comments At the time of the inspection, the provider stated there were 76 children enrolled, and 26 children's files B - H including newly enrolled were reviewed and found to be in compliance. The facility did not have documented proof that all child care personnel were trained and knowledgeable within 30 days of date of hire in [ safe sleep practices and shaken baby syndrome]. CCF Handbook, Section 4.2.3 and 4.2.5 Comments: At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist reviewed all staff files and determined that the staff listed on the supplemental did not have documentation of completing safe sleep training and had been employed more than 30 days. Technical assistance was given to the provider to have the staff complete the training prior to the due date. The provider was reminded that in order to satisfy this requirement the training must be accomplished through one of following methods: Department's Health Safety and Nutrition course, Safe Sleep course, or the Early Learning Floridas Safe Sleep Practices. The facility did not have documentation of a fire extinguisher being properly maintained to include being serviced and retagged timely, and/or with a current certificate. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, B Comments: At the time of the inspection, the CCR counselor observed the facility's fire extinguishers were last tagged in September 2023. Technical assistance was given to the provider to have the extinguishers retagged prior to the due date.
