CCF Handbook, Section 3.5, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: At the time of the inspection, the licensing specialist observed the following: a) multiple active ant piles • b) a pile of rock located near the gate on the inside of the playground • c) a broken clear plastic storage tote for toys that had sharp edges • Technical assistance was given to the provider to treat the ant piles, remove or replace the plastic storage tote and remove or fence off the area with rock so the children cannot access prior to the due date.
