The owner, operator, employee or substitute, while caring for children, committed an act or omission that meets the definition of child abuse or neglect provided in Chapter 39, Florida Statutes or Chapter 827, Florida Statutes. CCF Handbook, Section 8.2, A Enforcement [SR] Comments: During the inspection, the director stated, I looked at the cameras and seen her move the child but not forceful. But the teacher nails are short, and it should not have left a mark. The mark was on her arm. The Licensing specialist was provided video footage by the director for the day of the incident. In the beginning of the video footage the licensing specialist was provided she observed the child sitting on the floor near a shelf the teacher walked over to the child and picked the child up. The teacher lifted the child off the floor by placing her hands underneath the childs arms. The teacher then proceeded to wrap her right arm around the childs upper torso and carried the child and put the child down next to a shelf across the room. The teacher then walked away from the child. The teacher then walked back to the child. The teacher leaned down and reached for the child right arm, and using both hands to grab the childs upper right arm she lifted the child from a sitting position on the floor to a standing position. The teacher proceeded to walk with the child by holding onto the childs right upper arm with the teachers left hand. The teacher walked with the child and sat the child down at the back door of the classroom. The director brought this standard back in compliance at the time of inspection by terminating the teacher. ?During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook Section 8.2, A Child Safety. CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.3, H (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Food and Nutrition [SR] Comments: 26-1: During the inspection, Licensing Specialist observed that the posted menu was not dated. The director added the date. Licensing Specialist observed that the substitutions were not documented, in that the menu stated that there were pineapples for breakfast and the facility had juice. The director updated the menu and marked the substitution. This is being marked corrected at the time of the inspection. During the inspection, Licensing Specialist provided technical assistance, CCF Handbook, Section 3.9.3, H Meal and snack menus must be planned, written, dated, and posted at the beginning of each week in an easily seen place, accessible to the parents/guardians. Any menu substitutions must be noted on the menu. A generalized menu of possible snack choices for programs that receive food donations is acceptable. All meals and snacks prepared outside of the facilitys kitchen or designated food preparation area, such as catered food, must be listed along with the source. Daily meal and snack menus must be maintained for a minimum of 12 months for licensing purposes. Operators who participate in the USDA Food Program must keep menus in accordance with the Department of Health and USDA requirements.
