The facility did not maintain the sink, toilet and/or bath facilities used by the children in good operating condition, clean and sanitized or disinfected, posing a threat to the health, safety or well-being of the children. CCF Handbook, Section 3.7, I (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist observed that the girls and the boy's bathroom near the kitchen and dining area, both bathrooms have low water pressure when flushing the toilets and lots of water on both bathroom floors due to toilets running over. Per Provider maintenance was called to repair both bathrooms. Children are using another bathroom within the center. 3.7 Restrooms and Bath Facilities I. Each toilet and sink must be maintained in good operating condition, cleaned and sanitized or disinfected as needed, but at least once per day. Sinks utilized for teeth brushing activities/procedures by the children must be sanitized prior to the activity occurring. Source: FL DCF CARES inspection 2025-04-09.
