When escorting a group of children in the building following a bus run, Staff #11 used a harsh tone and commands , instead of redirecting children to appropriate behavioral in a constructive nature.

Staff shall follow all requirements when sunscreen is used. In the unlocked supply cabinet in the front room there were 2 bottles of sunscreen that were not labeled, or have written parent authorization noting any known adverse reactions.

There shall be at least 12 inches of space between occupied cots. The Discovery Preschool room had 5 children sleeping on cots that had about 9 inches of space between them where 12 inches was required.

Hazardous substances such as cleaning materials, insecticides, and pesticides shall be kept in a locked place using a safe locking method that prevents access by children. 1. The laundry room door, located inside the preschool classroom was not latched, where a dozen cans of paint and 2 one gallon containers of floor cleaner were stored. 2. There were 2 disinfectant sprays that were not locked in the two year-old room.
